We are looking for two siblings in Richland, GA who both have Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1, for certified nursing professionals (m/f/d).

The older brother is 15 years old and is ventilated through a tracheostomy tube 24 hours a day. We accompany him to school. The younger brother is 6 years old and is ventilated with a mask while sleeping. He goes to kindergarten on his own. We work in the family with early, late, and night shifts. At night, we take care of both boys together, and during the day, we take care of them individually. We are looking for someone for day and night shifts.


Your profile:


  • Enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults with intensive care needs
  • Empathy and reliability, sense of responsibility and social competence
  • Certified nursing professional (m/f/d), i.e. completed training as a pediatric nurse, nurse, pediatric nurse, or nurse
  • Independent and careful work
  • Willingness for personal and professional development
  • Experience with ventilated patients is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Valid driver's license

Your tasks:

In addition to accompanying the children to school, the following tasks await you with our small and large intensive care patients:

  • Monitoring of ventilation and vital parameters
  • Acting in emergencies
  • Communicating with family members, patients, doctors, and therapists
  • Performing all basic and treatmentrelated nursing tasks (
