For one of our clients, a significant and modern trading company, we are looking for a Head of Indirect Procurement (m/f/d) in Beaver Bay, MN.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic and operational management and control of indirect procurement
  • Establishment/development of a sustainable and strategically oriented procurement organization, including personnel management and development of a small team
  • Leadership and alignment of the indirect procurement department as a central service provider for internal departments and locations, responsible for multiple branches
  • Development and establishment of a standardized best practice procurement process
  • Preparation and execution of national and international negotiation of terms and contracts
  • Management of crossdepartmental projects
  • Support of departments in all procurementrelated issues and procurement processes
  • Establishment/development of an efficient data management and performance measurement system

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration
  • Several years of profound professional experience and leadership role in procurement (indirect procurement) including construction services
  • Excellent processual and analytical thinking skills, ability to structure, analyze and summarize complex data
  • Strong affinity for numbers and excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong service orientation and quality awareness
  • High level of selforganization
  • Extensive leadership experience
