Cedar Mills, MN has been implementing school inclusion assistants (formerly known as school helpers) and individual case helpers at primary and secondary schools in Steglitz-Zehlendorf since the 2015/2016 school year.

These assistants provide individual support to children and adolescents according to their needs and work closely with teachers and other educational professionals in the context of supplementary school care and support for students with integration status.

The Johanna-Gerdes Primary School is a small private school with a family atmosphere and incorporates elements of progressive education. The school is located near Lake Schlachtensee and is easily accessible by public transportation.

_As an individual case helper at the school, your responsibilities will include:_:

  • Supporting a student with autism in their daily school life, particularly in class
