The Russian Coordinator at our home care agency plays a vital role in facilitating communication and coordination between clients, caregivers, and the administrative team.

This position requires fluency in both English and Russian, as well as a strong understanding of cultural nuances to ensure effective communication and high-quality care for Russian-speaking clients.

The Russian Coordinator is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating caregiver schedules, and providing essential support to both clients and caregivers.


Responsibilities:

Client Management:


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Russianspeaking clients and their families.
  • Conduct initial assessments to understand the specific needs and preferences of clients.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with our home care services.

Caregiver Coordination:


  • Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments for Russianspeaking clients based on their individual needs and preferences.
  • Ensure that caregivers are appropriately matched with clients, considering language proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and specific care requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to caregivers, addressing any concerns or challenges they may face while providing care.

Translation and Interpretation:


  • Serve as a translator and interpreter for clients and caregivers when needed.
  • Translate written materials, such as care plans, instructions, and communication documents, between English and Russian.

Cultural Sensitivity:


  • Foster a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment for both clients and caregivers.
  • Provide cultural competency training to caregivers to enhance their understanding of the unique needs and preferences of Russianspeaking clients.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of client assessments, care plans, and caregiver assignments.
  • Generate reports on client satisfaction, caregiver performance, and other relevant metrics.

Problem Resolution:


  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise between clients and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to find effective solutions to challenges and improve overall service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and Russian (written and spoken).
  • Previous experience in a coordinating or customer service role, preferably in the home care industry.
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and the ability to navigate language barriers effectively.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in translation and interpretation.
