    Team Gillman Subaru North has immediate openings for Sales People One of the most highly respected Family-owned Groups in the Greater Houston area is looking for a qualified Car Sales Professional

    Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

    • Manage incoming internet and phone inquiries while proactively pursuing additional customer leads.
    • Schedule appointments from incoming leads
    • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
    • Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career
    • Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
    • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
    • Saturday availability is needed as well as some evening hours
    • Valid U.S. Driver's license with minimum of 3 years driving
    • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
    • Establishing personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devising a strategy to meet those goals
    • Reporting to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
    • Attending meetings and training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer
    • Staying updated on incoming inventory, features, accessories, and other items, and how they benefit the customer; keeping up with technological changes in the products
    • Maintaining a prospect development system
    • Introducing customers to the service department personnel; working with the service department to ensure vehicles are reconditioned as expected and on schedule

    About Our Dealership (Team Gillman)

    Since 1938 and with over 70 years of success, Team Gillman has been a family-owned and operated group of automobile dealerships. The business was founded by Frank Gillman when the first dealership opened on Milam Street in downtown Houston. Frank's son, Ramsay Gillman, continued and expanded the business his father started with a constant emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.

    Now, owned and operated by Ramsay's son Chris Gillman, Team Gillman has dealerships in Houston, Rosenberg and Clear Lake representing Acura, Honda, Subaru and Mazda.
