Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) - a mission area within Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) - is looking for a Principal Financial Analyst for the Navy Development Program area.

The selected individual will support small-sized CPFF contracts.

Individual will be a member of a team performing financial analysis / business management functions for Navy programs within RFS Development area.

Position ensures that all required financial inputs (including reporting) are reviewed, analyzed, and submitted on time. Responsibilities include variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development.

Individual shall also play a vital role in internal financial planning (e.g., bookings, sales, profit and cash forecasting and analysis) and billings support.


Responsibilities to Anticipate:


  • Provide financial analysis and support for the Navy Development programs.
  • Assist with weekly SRO, quarterly formal forecast, AOP and 5 Year planning for assigned IPT(s).
  • Work with PM and IPTLs to baseline programs in accordance with Raytheon policies.
  • Prepare financial data charts for weekly Program Performance Reviews.
  • Prepare accurate weekly / monthly actuals and EQPs.
  • Prepare and support expenditure profiles and funding status for assigned IPT(s).
  • Prepare and review weekly / monthly variance analysis prepared by IPT(s).
  • Prepare and support annual EACs with appropriate management levels for assigned IPT(s).
  • Prepare and review monthly LREs.
  • Support contracts in providing information for customer inquiries.

Qualifications You Must Have:


  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Estimate at Complete (EAC).
  • Understanding of sales, profits, bookings, and cash flow forecasting.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

  • Experience with SAP APEX Earned Value and EAC.
  • Experience in interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.) in program development and implementation.
