Description

A leading offshore wind developer is seeking a WTG Package Manager to join their team in Hamburg on a 6-month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension. As the team leader, your expertise in WTG package management will be crucial in driving project progress.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the "wind turbine" trade throughout the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • You will monitor project progress using package and project schedules, and provide technical optimization options throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Identifying technical issues in the contractor's project design and fabrication planning, you will conduct risk assessments and develop custom solutions.
  • You will review design and execution documentation prepared by the contractor and draft internal decision templates for technical addendum agreements.
  • Collaborating closely with the Design, Engineering, Installation, and Commissioning teams, as well as the Construction Management and Contract Management team.
  • You will report to the Project Director and Project Management team as needed.
  • As a collaborative and approachable team member, you will provide technical support to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • You should hold an Engineering Degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
  • You should have experience in project management of complex technical projects and managing technical interfaces within the WTG industry.
