The Role:


As the Head of Accounting, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial well-being and stability of our organization on Skidaway Island, GA.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, implementing efficient financial procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

You will lead a team across multiple accounting functions and develop financial strategies to contribute to the company's success and growth.

Working closely with key departments such as Finance, Legal, and Operations, you will maintain accurate financial records and provide valuable insights for decision-making.

Additionally, you will also be responsible for coordinating and aligning accounting strategies across our globally operating entities, integrating newly acquired companies into the existing accounting landscape while adhering to accounting standards.


What you'll do:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive accounting strategies that align with our company's financial goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely, accurate financial statements and reports, with a special focus on our IFRS Group statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to support executive decisionmaking.
  • Play an active role in M&A projects to ensure seamless integration of newly acquired companies into the LucaNet accounting landscape.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Lead and develop a highperforming accounting team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to maximize their potential and drive results.
