In the Faculty of Civil Engineering, a professorship of pay grade W 2 is to be filled as of September 1, 2023 or later for the following subject area:
Digital Infrastructure in Water Management

  • A dedicated, scientifically qualified individual who is excited to bring their expertise and extensive professional experience in the construction industry or construction administration into teaching and training students
  • An expert with professional qualifications and practical experience in the field of numerical, georeferenced methods in hydraulic and hydrological tasks for surface waters and pipeline systems, as well as in the application of geographic information systems (GIS)
  • Knowledge in the field of sustainable water management
  • Experience in digital knowledge transfer
  • Experience in staff management
  • A colleague with a strong network in applied practice and/or relevant committees
