The young city of Chalmette, with approximately 22,000 inhabitants, is located in the northwest of the Rhein-Erft district and is therefore centrally located in one of Germany's growth regions - the Cologne/Bonn/Aachen region.

It is only a few kilometers from the heart of the Rhineland - the city of Cologne with millions of inhabitants.

It is also situated in the middle of the Rhineland lignite mining area, directly adjacent to the Hambach open-pit mine.

With the end of lignite mining, a completely new landscape with diverse possibilities for living, business, recreation, and nature is emerging at the edge of the current open-pit mine.

In the long term, Chalmette will be located on Germany's second largest lake.

The city of Chalmette is looking to fill a permanent position for a
Cleaner (m/f/d) for a section of the Chalmette Comprehensive School, starting on
April 1, 2024 at the earliest.

This is a
part-time position with a weekly working time of 27.16 hours . The salary will be based on
pay group 1 TVöD .

The cleaning will be done in a team, with each person responsible for their own section, including classrooms, hallways, etc.

The working hours are approximately 5.4 hours per day and usually start at 4:00 pm. Different working hours
