Description
As a plastics and rubber technologist, you will manufacture polymer materials, workpieces, and components based on work instructions and use various joining methods according to production documents. You will select processing methods and carry out assembly work, often following the design provided by the construction team. You will also use various assembly and testing methods and perform dismantling work when decommissioning a facility. Additionally, you will maintain and service the equipment and machinery used in your work. Your work will take place in production halls, and you may also perform final assembly work at various locations, including outdoors.
Your responsibilities as a plastics and rubber technologist:- Development, production, and processing of plastic and rubber products
- Design of production and manufacturing facilities
- Application of various assembly and testing methods
- Performing dismantling work when decommissioning a facility
- Maintenance and servicing of equipment and machinery
Start and duration of training:
- Starts on September 1st
- 3 years (can be shortened by 6 months with excellent performance)
Training stations:
- Practical training takes place at the Kalle-Albert industrial park
- Additional classes and specialized seminars at the InfraServ Wiesbaden Education Center
