Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager and Ticketing Coordinator, the Ticketing Assistant will primarily support the programming team in all non-classical programs across multiple venues including the Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, and Walt Disney Concert Hall from June - October 31.
The Ticketing Assistant(s) will work with the Ticketing Coordinator to handle the ticketing needs of all shows throughout the summer season.
Coverage of all non-classical concerts at multiple venues will be split between the Ticketing Coordinator and Ticketing Assistants, exact assignments to be determined.
This is a non-regular part-time position, tentatively from June - October 31. Individual start dates to be determined upon hiring.Position Elements:
- The Ticketing Assistant will support the Ticketing Coordinator with the responsibility of fulfillment, tracking, and distribution of department ticket needs and parking requests to assigned concerts.
- This position will process internal orders, both comp and purchased, and facilitate external comp ticket orders for artists, agents and record labels.
- Coordinate any outstanding ticketing needs, releases, holds with box office.
- On event days, act as onsite contact and liaison for any artist ticketing issues or last minute requests.
- Responsible for screening, reviewing and resolving artist inquiries in regards to credit card information, ticket distribution, pricing and general venue information
- Distribute ticket counts to department heads, producers, agents, artist managers, etc.
- Collaborate with other members of the ticketing staff on the creation of event seating maps.
- Assists Program Manager as needed with concert presales and onsales.

Minimum Requirements
Position Requirements:
- Must be available to work on concerts as assigned from approximately May
- October 30. Hours will vary per week based on concert and projects assigned to the individual.
- High School Diploma or its equivalency
- 24 years of related work experience
- Experience working with high volume ticketing requests
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Professional; and ability to learn required business systems
- Must be organized, detailoriented and selfmotivated
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and remain calm in a fastpaced environment
- Customer service oriented in all industry and interoffice interactions
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays
- Excellent oral and written communication and relationship building skills: ability to present information effectively and ability respond to questions and/or inquiries from coworkers, artist teams, VIP clients, etc
