Your Responsibilities


As General Counsel, you will be responsible for the areas of Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Corporate Risk Management & Governance.

You will provide comprehensive advice to the management, departments, and executives in all legal and data protection matters, and report to the Chief Financial Officer of the parent company, United Internet AG.


You will ensure the following topics:

  • Professional and disciplinary responsibility for the executives of Corporate Risk Management & Governance and Compliance, as well as overall responsibility for the Legal and Privacy departments.
  • Corporate legal support for the group, including issues related to stock and capital market law.
  • Compliance with laws and regulations, as well as compliance policies.
  • Implementation of regulatory requirements related to the GDPR, BDSG, and other specific national regulations.
  • Review of necessary processes to meet all legal governance and risk management requirements.
  • Representation of the interests of the United Internet Group in business and interest associations.
What We're Looking For


For this responsible role, you have a degree in Business Law, International Business Law, Business Administration, Business Management, or a comparable qualification.
