Job Functions:
The Bench Hand position is responsible for the duties to deburr, tap, CNC tech and paint finished
machined details.

  • Deburrs and hand finishes surfaces of precision machined aerospace parts. Common materials include
aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and stainless steel.

  • Reads drawings, designs and various technical materials as necessary to achieve desired surface finish and
close tolerance dimensions.

  • Checks dimensions using calipers, micrometers, pin gages, radius gages, and similar hand measurement
tools.

  • Hand benches by use of rotary air tools and angle grinders.
  • Maintains adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge to use benching power tools (grinders, profilers, etc.).
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, intermediate computer skills, ability to multitask, and good written and
verbal communication skills.


Education/ Experience Required:

High school Diploma or recognized equivalent
