    Description

    The SMIT Program within the Navy Marine Corps IT Business Area is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support the program.

    The chosen candidate will mainly handle the NMCI Domain of the SMIT program, dealing with over $680M in revenue within a challenging reporting structure and a dynamic funding setting.

    This role plays a crucial part in helping the team meet its financial commitments by providing accurate and timely risk-assessed forecasts for the NMCI Domain, along with offering comprehensive FP&A support for the SMIT program.

    The ideal candidate will bring expertise in intricate financial modeling, in-depth financial research, balance sheet management, project asset forecasting, loading, and overseeing the forecast into Insight and subsidiary IWOs.

    Responsibilities will involve influencing cost control strategies, enhancing planning systems, and processes for the NMCI Division, and aiding in the overall SMIT Forecasting planning endeavors.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Prepare pre-close and close reporting for the NMCI Division.
    • Prepare Monthly MOR, Quarterly QBR Packages, and Quarterly Forecast Review packages.
    • Coordinate and support key weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting deliverables tracking the business metrics of Backlog, Revenue, Operating Income, and Free Cashflow.
    • Support the consolidated planning of all Revenue, EBITDA, Cash, and Balance Sheet accounts for the Division.
    • Conduct various financial cost analysis functions.
    • Ensure proper cost allocation following established procedures.
    • Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and create reports.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including FP&A and Program Financial Analysis (PFA).
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with Insight is necessary.
    • Ability to aggregate and analyze large datasets.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Capability to aggregate substantial amounts of data for analytics and visualization using tools like Power BI, etc.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $108, $196,225.00
