As part of its legal mandate, the Youth Office is responsible for implementing the Educational Child and Youth Protection (according to Section 14 of the Social Code Eight).

In Stantonsburg, the following thematic priorities have been set for this purely preventive field of work:
child and youth media protection, health promotion, addiction prevention, sexual education, democracy promotion, and violence prevention.

In addition to these content areas, there are also legal obligations, with the target group for all services including children, youth, their parents, professionals, and other interested citizens.


Your responsibilities:


  • Responsible for implementing and coordinating the measures for the topic "Strengthening Democracy" as outlined in the Child and Youth Development Plan
  • Coordination of the federal program "Living Democracy
  • Partnerships for Democracy" in cooperation with AGB e.
V.

  • Communication and implementation of the funding process for "Media Protection and Democracy Promotion"
  • Organization of training and conferences
  • Participation in committees, working groups, and networks such as "AG 78", "Prevention U27", "Expert Group on Extremism", etc.
  • Point of contact for all questions related to preventive child and youth protection.
