Your Responsibilities
As Head of Finance & Accounting, you ensure the smooth workflow of the finance and accounting department and are responsible for leading and developing your team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB is part of your responsibilities, as well as developing solutions for the accounting treatment of ongoing and new business transactions.
- You work closely with cross-functional departments as well as internal and external stakeholders (e.g. headquarters, auditors, sales, order management, etc.).
- In addition, you ensure the continuous development of the finance and accounting department and its processes and lead special projects.
Your Qualifications
- A degree in business administration with a focus on finance and accounting or a comparable qualification, ideally with additional training as a certified accountant (m/f/d).
- In addition to leadership experience, you have relevant professional experience in finance and accounting in an international production company.
- You also have a solid understanding of IFRS and HGB accounting principles and are confident in preparing financial statements.
- You have a collaborative, constructive, and trustworthy approach to teamwork. You work independently, in a structured and flexible manner, and possess strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and analytical thinking.
