- The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) owns, operates, and maintains eight major toll facilities comprised of four bridges, two tunnels, and two turnpikes, across the State of Maryland. Nature of Work:The Maximo Analyst will facilitate the installation of the MDTA's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), known as Maximo, at all of the MDTA's maintenance facilities, procurement office, finance office, and headquarters. They will train system users on proper use and techniques for the efficient use of the database and will train users on new procedures as they are implemented.
Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Design, develop, and implement an inventory locator system at each facility;
- Design, develop, and implement database reports that assist managers, supervisors, and procurement personnel in their daily decisionmaking processes;
- Monitor database activity to ensure the data is entered correctly and efficiently; and
- Maintain security and integrity of the data by specifying access policies to ensure compliance with laws, codes, standards, and policies as set forth by the MDTA.

, in the Asset Management and Support Services Unit.
The eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies at other facilities throughout the MDTA

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Information Technology or other related field with specific coursework in the structure and use of automated information systems
