Job Profile:

  • You will be responsible for the series development of complex electric drive systems, as well as budget planning and adherence and goal achievement.
  • The professional and disciplinary responsibility for employees falls within your area of responsibility, as well as the structuring of the BU R&D in accordance with the overall BU goals. Project controlling for commercial and technical aspects within research and development is part of your responsibilities.
  • You develop new products and markets, and monitor and track competitor products, as well as the activities of market competitors and services.
  • You work on defining the product strategy, set global BU R&D standards, and lead continuous improvement processes (CIP) within the BU R&D.
  • You are responsible for monitoring and controlling all BUrelated patent activities in collaboration with the legal department.
  • You are responsible for identifying and coordinating potential external development service providers and university partners for BUspecific products/projects.
  • You expand R&D capabilities and prototype and testing capabilities in line with the BU product strategy.

What sets you apart:

  • You have successfully completed your technical studies and have proven, extensive experience in managing a large development department for drive systems with diverse functions (e.g. prototype construction, development, testing, system development), as well as indepth knowledge of eaxles and powertrains.
  • Your extensive expertise in organizational development has led to successes in restructuring and building larger development departments.
