  • You have a completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
  • Experience in advising students is desirable.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with implementing examination regulations and preparing recognition and processing applications from students.
  • You ideally have knowledge of examination law.
  • Communication skills are one of your strengths and communicating in English is not a problem for you.
  • You enjoy working in a team and are open to exchanging ideas with colleagues.
  • You enjoy interacting with students from different cultural and personal backgrounds.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with RWTHonline.

Your Tasks

  • Assisting in academic advising
  • Conducting individual advising sessions, including for teaching degrees
  • Supporting examination committees, including for teaching degrees
  • Participating in the selection of Master's applicants
  • Collaborating in the advising network of RWTH
  • Operational and administrative support for the student life cycle at the faculty level
