Position Summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Training Coordinator. As a Training Coordinator, you will support the Training Program and Quality Systems.

This position will assist in the development and maintenance of new hire orientation, continued new hire education, and will support administrative activities in Quality Systems.


This is a full-time role position: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift.

This 206,878 square-foot facility, located in the Philadelphia area is Catalent's global Center of Excellence for Clinical Supply Packaging. Catalent offers GMP secondary packaging and clinical labeling services throughout our global network. Packaging can be configured to hold a single product or multiple products as determined by study requirements.

We offer manual patient kit assembly along with semi-automated and automated wallet sealing and high-speed automated carding to meet the needs of studies of all sizes.

For temperature sensitive products and those with mínimal to zero allowable time out of environment, we can perform secondary packaging in refrigerated and frozen packaging rooms or over dry ice depending upon your project needs.

Using our Clinicopia global labeling system with its multi-lingual label phrase library we can design single panel, booklet labels or our unique Peel-ID safe storage labels for your studies.

Single panel and Peel-ID safe storage labels can be conveniently reviewed and approved online via our Fusion portal before being printed and inspected at our facilities.

The Role

  • Support activities of the Manager, Training Program and the Training Lead.
  • Cross train with Quality Systems team by supporting activities of the Manager, Quality Systems which may include audit support activities, GMP training and Compliance Wire support.
  • Assist hiring managers with new hire preparation.
  • Facilitate and maintain new hire orientation to meet the needs of new hires, promotions, internal transfers, external transfers and bubble assignments.
  • Deliver trainings as needed and/or work with other internal or external resources for execution of training opportunities.
  • Assist Training Lead in evaluating teaching methods and performing administrative activities as needed.
  • Contribute to the instruction and presentation of training courses and assist in assessment of how effectively different methods and materials are delivered and received.
  • Prepare training locations by ensuring all of the tools, technical equipment and resources needed to effectively teach the course.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • High School or general education diploma is required.
  • Associate Degree is preferred.
years relevant experience delivering training, preferably in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- cGMP experience, Quality experience and/or experience working a pharmaceutical or medical device facility strongly preferred; exposure to FDA and/or other regulatory agencies strongly preferred.

  • Must have computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and be capable of quickly learning other software programs.
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written and interpersonal; Excellent Presentation skills.
  • Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Individual will be required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, occasionally lift 015 pounds.
