Description
The new Program Supervisor will supervise the operational for a new Family with Children site. We're looking for solid management and supervisory skills.

Shelter, DHS, and CARES experience is a plus


Key Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Operations: Oversee operational and recreational programs onsite.
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing training to shelter operation staff.
  • Evaluate operational and recreational program's effectiveness and develop methods to improve outcomes.
  • Facilitate trainings and complete audits to ensure the programs are in compliance.
  • Create relationships with community resources and agencies that will enhance the programs.
  • Work with other program staff to develop strategies to improve client wellbeing on site.
  • Facilitate group trainings with clients and/or staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
BA and/Masters in Human Services field. 2 years of relevant experience working in DHS (Family with Children) shelter. Experience working with People with health, homelessness, poverty, and cultural/language issues. DHS CARES experience. F80 holder, NARCAN trainee and Food Handlers (a plus).


Pay:
$65,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Long Island City, NY 11101: Relocate before starting work (required)
