Description

The district office of Waldshut - Youth Welfare Office - is looking for a Social Pedagogue or Psychologist for the newly created specialist office against sexual violence at the Psychological Counseling Center for Children, Adolescents and Parents in Grass Lake. The position is part-time at 75% (approximately 29 hours per week) and is available immediately.

Your responsibilities:

Independently plan and conduct counseling processes with children and adolescents affected by sexual violence, as well as provide counseling for caregivers
Develop crisis support for children, adolescents, and young adults and offer it as part of the team
Collaborate with kindergartens, schools, school social work, the youth welfare office, medical facilities (doctors, clinics), and the police and justice system
Create and conduct lectures, prevention and information events
Represent the specialist office in cooperation committees and professional working groups as part of the team

Our requirements:

A completed degree in a relevant field (e.g. social pedagogy/social work/psychology or a comparable qualification)
Further education and experience in child protection or working with children and adolescents who have experienced sexual violence
An empathetic and open-minded professional attitude
A clear commitment to working with this particularly challenging topic and providing support
