Hoffmann's Balloon Shop is one of the largest providers of balloons in the region and is part of the Hoffmann Packaging Group. Whether it's store openings, ship christenings, weddings, birthdays, etc., we take care of the design and construction of magnificent balloon structures. We offer a diverse portfolio of different balloons and decoration items. We are a dynamic and growing family business and have been working daily for over 100 years to serve our customers to the best of our ability.

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a:

Store Manager (m/f/d) for Hoffmann's Balloon Shop in Hayti, SD

Your responsibilities:


  • Managing the balloon shop and ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue
  • Personnel management, scheduling, motivation, and evaluation of employees
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory, as well as placing orders
  • Ensuring a friendly and professional customer service experience
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Managing cash register transactions and reporting to management

Your profile:


  • Experience in a similar position, ideally in retail or the event industry
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Reliability, responsibility, and resilience
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to work on Saturdays (12 times per
