As a member of the Paritätischer NRW, we provide child and youth welfare services and are deeply rooted in the local structures of the Ruhr region.

Your responsibilities


The regional refugee counseling is a service that caters to refugees who do not have a permanent residence permit or have not yet been recognized as asylum seekers.

Providing professional advice and support to clients in all matters related to authorities, residence, asylum, social rights, and medical care are the main tasks of the regional counseling.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Counseling and information on social and personal matters
  • Participation in internal and external committees
  • Accompanying the asylum process
  • Assistance in obtaining necessary documents
  • Support in securing livelihood
  • Assistance in developing perspectives
  • Promoting selfhelp potential
  • General orientation assistance
Your profile

  • Completed university degree in social work or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in migration
