Wastewater Engineering Manager (m/f/d) We are looking for you for the Department of Civil Engineering / Municipal Drainage Department Stuttgart (SES) of the state capital Stuttgart.

The position is permanent.

The Department of Treatment Plants and Sewer Operations of the Stuttgart Municipal Drainage Department at the Department of Civil Engineering operates the largest treatment plant in Baden-Württemberg, the Mühlhausen main treatment plant, as well as three external treatment plants with a total of approximately 150 employees.

As a wastewater engineering manager, you will oversee projects related to wastewater treatment at the Mühlhausen main treatment plant and support in optimizing plant operations.


Your main tasks:
You are the project manager for major projects at the treatment plant Observation and evaluation of process operations, as well as development and assessment of optimization measures, are part of your responsibilities Active development of operational data management for the Stuttgart treatment plants You support the process group for energy management at the Mühlhausen main treatment plant You actively participate in the implementation of overarching tasks Your profile: A degree in process engineering, civil engineering with a focus on urban water management, environmental engineering, or a comparable degree (for foreign degrees, recognition in Germany is required) Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and Microsoft Office Expertise in occupational safety regulations, occupational health and safety, water law, and relevant regulations Experience in project management and control Structured and independent work style, as well as good rhetorical skills and a confident approach to authorities, citizens, and service
