About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing operational support to the sales teams and in identifying and driving process improvements to help enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Let's talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Owns the management and triaging of inbound requests from the sales force related to the various programs, processes, and tools and systems administered by the Sales Operations team for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Identify ways to improve processes, ensure data integrity and accuracy, test for system serviceability and new functionality, and perform validations in the CRM related to territory and account assignments.
- Assist in the management of sampling program with field activities related to transactional review, tracking, closing out, documentation, and communication.
- Administer and coordinate with internal teams in the on/off boarding of sales employees, roster management, and providing access and provisioning of sales tools and systems (CRM, Vehicle Program, Samples, Storage Units, etc.).
- Updates and maintains documentation of sales operations processes and business rules.
- Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure adoption and compliance of sales processes implemented.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Factors for Success:
- Bachelor's degree in business, science or related field required with two years of experience; inclusive of 1+ years relevant experience in healthcare/pharma; ophthalmic and/or biopharma launch experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Application such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Familiarity with Veeva or similar CRM platforms for sales team management
- Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Master Data Management/Customer Master concepts
- Experience with Fleet management and related vendor support
- Experience with Sample Management Systems and related vendor support
- Customer Service oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Able to think critically, identify gaps and develop a plan or solution to address issues
- Must be a team player with strong selfawareness and excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working across and within departments and in building relationships to accomplish common goals
