We are currently seeking an experienced Model Maker for a motorsport company located in New Troy, MI. This is a 3-month trial contract with the potential for extension until at least the summer, pending mutual agreement.

As a Model Maker, you will be responsible for producing accurate models for the automotive or aeronautical industry.

This includes preparing, adjusting, and assembling parts according to technical drawings and sketches, as well as finishing the surfaces of components.

To be successful in this role, you should have completed technical training as a mechanic or technical model builder. Previous experience as a model maker and familiarity with turning and milling machines is preferred. You should also possess strong craftsmanship and technical skills, as well as spatial awareness and numeracy skills.

Dexterity and diligence are also important for this role, as you will be working with small parts and producing precise models.

Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required.
