- Responsible for articulating CIM's investment strategy, platforms, competitive advantages, performance, and for explaining in detail CIM's various investments to both existing and potential investors to raise capital for the firm
- Promoting CIM's organization (brand awareness and recognition)
- Be the primary point of contact for CIM's existing investors to provide and maintain regular communication and client service through inperson meetings and/or calls
- Develop and maintain relationships with new potential investors and responding to their requests and inquiries
- Research and analyze potential investors, competitors and other market dynamics
- Work closely with the institutional client group, portfolio oversight and strategy solutions team to weigh into new product development initiatives and preview new funds to prospective investors
- Represent CIM at various industry conferences, panels, and the like
- Work closely with the Client Service Analytics Group to generate due diligence and other offering materials such as PPM, Flipbook, and DDQ's
- Participate in preparing responses to investor requests
- Accompany existing and new investors on property tours as needed
EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(including certification, licenses, etc.):
- Bachelor's degree required, preferrable in business, finance or a related field
- CFA or MBA preferred
- Experience building and expanding relationships with institutional investors and/or investment consultants
- Appreciation for the trends and buying behavior of institutional clients with a track record of successfully raising assets
- Strong understanding of real estate, infrastructure and private markets preferred
- Series 7 & 63 Licenses required

At CIM, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible for bonus pay in addition to base salary. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Los Angeles is $180,000-$250,000.
