Breathing Apparatus Technician in the Breathing Apparatus Workshop is available as soon as possible:

Pay grade 7 TVöD

- to be filled in the department "Clothing, Vehicles and Equipment Technology".

The Fire Department and Rescue Service of the Federal City of Bonn, where approximately 333,000 people live, ensures safety with around 400 employees, approximately 500 volunteer firefighters, and the emergency personnel of partner organizations integrated into the rescue service at three fire stations and one rescue station, at the fire department of the university hospital, and at 18 locations of the volunteer fire department.

The responsibilities include:

Cleaning, maintenance, testing, and servicing of breathing apparatus (compressed air breathing apparatus and breathing connections)
Coordination of pressure vessel inspections and maintenance of inspection records
Inventory, labeling, repair, and disposal of breathing apparatus technology
Data management using software: Drägerware and FEUERnetz, among others
Supervision of exercises in the breathing apparatus training facility
Support of the logistics department in case of need
Supportive tasks in the clothing store or in other workshops of the Equipment and Technology department

Requirements:

Successfully completed training in a technical or fire departmentrelated profession
