Overview

Monitors charge capture and charge reconciliation outcomes to ensure a complete and accurate charge capture of accounts. Add/Change/Delete (ACD) charges as needed based on supporting documentation.

What you will do

  • Monitors charge capture and charge reconciliation outcomes.
  • Monitors and works charge review and account work queues.
  • Add/ delete/ change (ACD) charges as needed based on supporting documentation.
  • Reviews HARS for charge corrections and reconciles account charges.
  • Posts injection/infusion charges.
  • Works with CDM Analyst and assigned clinical departments to ensure a complete and accurate charge capture of accounts.
  • Works with the clinical teams to obtain clarification or additional information.
  • Identifies any trends in charges. Communicates coding issues with the respective clinical teams.

Qualifications:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED, (required)
  • Bachelors Degree, Business Administration, Finance or related field (preferred)
Experience

  • 2 years Revenue Cycle experience (required)
Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Professional Coder
  • Hospital (CPC-H)
  • American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) (preferred)


  • CRCR

  • Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) (preferred)
