We offer several positions for the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) in the field of children and youth participation at the Fröbelschule Support Center.

The Federal Voluntary Service is an opportunity for women and men of all ages to engage in activities for the common good outside of work and school. The Federal Voluntary Service is usually completed full-time and lasts for 12 months. In principle, volunteers aged 27 and over have the option to complete the Federal Voluntary Service part-time, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The Fröbelschule is a support center for mentally and physically disabled children and adolescents. Here, the volunteers are assigned to a school class and learn about the tasks and processes of the institution in a team of educational staff.

Your tasks in particular:

  • Supervision tasks
  • Support during classes
  • Assistance with nursing tasks, such as brushing teeth, dressing and undressing, and eating
  • Household tasks, such as serving meals, table service, and preparing breakfast buffets

Our requirements:

  • Completion of full-time compulsory education
  • Minimum age of 18 years
