Children and teenagers want to be heard and involved.

They are searching for their role in life. Seniorpartner in School (SiS) offers children and teenagers at 350 schools nationwide contact persons for this purpose. Our 1,300 volunteers (generation 55+) are trained as school mediators and are available to children for group and individual conversations during school hours. SiS builds a bridge between young and old.

Seniorpartner in School do not reduce young people to their role as students, but instead put their personal concerns and needs at the center.

As experienced "seniors," we take them seriously and treat them as equals.

This opens up the opportunity for students to express their own perspectives, feelings, and needs and find self-determined solutions to problems and conflicts, in short: to grow and mature.
