For our decentralized residential groups in Loleta, CA, we are looking for a volunteer (m/f/d) starting on Job description:

The main focus of the work is on household tasks and support in daily life
Assisting the professional staff: providing pedagogical care for children and adolescents in group and individual settings in daily life (the volunteer is not responsible for pedagogical decisions)
Pickup and dropoff services
Engaging and spending time with residents
Being a contact person for residents and their caregivers
Assisting residents with homework
Working according to the schedule
Intervening in conflict situations involving residents and seeking help from the professional staff (the professional staff supports, protects, and reflects on the situation with the volunteer)
Cooperating with schools and other institutions and informing the professional staff of the team
Being knowledgeable about the neighborhood, keeping information uptodate, and utilizing resources
Participating in and helping organize (inhouse) events and celebrations
