Introduction


The Institute for Hospital Remuneration Systems (InEK GmbH) supports hospitals, health insurance companies, and their associations in the continuous development of remuneration systems for hospital services in Germany, in accordance with the Hospital Financing Act (KHG).

The Institute has been commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Health and is equipped with a variety of sovereign tasks within the German healthcare system.


We are currently seeking a SQL Database Employee (m/f/d) for our Department of Data Acquisition, Statistics, and Nursing Staff, starting as soon as possible.

What you bring to the table...

Extensive knowledge in evaluating and analyzing databases (SQL)
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, VBA is advantageous) and the basic concepts of programming
Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with medical issues, their representation in a remuneration system, and complex analysis techniques
Completed studies or relevant training
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style
Strong analytical, logical, and holistic thinking skills
Excellent communication skills

Your responsibilities...

Database-based support for the further development of remuneration systems
Examination and analysis of performance and cost data from hospitals, as well as preparation and presentation of results
Further development of hospital data acquisition processes
Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with the medical, economic, and IT departments
