Responsibility for the service package and its management throughout the entire lifecycle


  • Responsibility for the costs of the service package, including conducting cost and quantity-based planning and forecasts
  • Continuous development and optimization of the service package within the framework of CSI measures and in accordance with new requirements
  • Deriving strategic goals for the service package from overarching strategies and implementing corresponding measures
  • Ensuring compliance with agreed service parameters (service level, operational level) and the cost-effectiveness of service delivery
  • Participation in committees of the German Armed Forces (e.g. FAG, AG) and contribution to the implementation of the BWI-wide sourcing strategy
  • Completed studies in the IT field or a comparable education
  • Approximately 6 years of professional experience in IT service management and experience in the technical leadership and management of virtual teams
  • Very good knowledge of software deployment on client-based systems
  • Holistic view and a strong understanding of end-to-end service responsibility and service provision, ITIL certification advantageous
  • High sense of responsibility, proactive and customer-oriented approach, decisiveness, and good communication skills
  • As the primary digitalization partner of the German Armed Forces, we enable and support in times of peace, crisis, and war
  • You will be involved in innovative digitalization projects and work closely with manufacturers (e.g. Cisco & Microsoft)
