You play an important role at G2K: As a Senior Accountant, you work together with your international colleagues every day to ensure that G2K can rely on a successful finance team. You prepare monthly and annual financial statements and conduct invoice audits. You keep track of travel expenses, sales tax, income tax, and more, and are an important internal and external contact in the finance department.

Responsibilities

Here are your main responsibilities:

Responsibility for the accounting processes of multiple companies according to HGB and, in the future, IFRS
Monitoring and support in the preparation of financial statements according to HGB, such as account clarification, clarification of balance sheet items, support in consolidation
You have an overview of the work in the subsidiary books, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting, and support the team with bookings
Creating statistics and evaluations is nothing new to you
You enjoy working closely with the finance team on site, in Egypt, and with external service providers
Assisting in the preparation of sales tax returns and participating in the preparation of tax returns for all relevant types of taxes
You optimize and improve current financial processes and automate them to make them scalable
You drive company/investment financial statements forward and work with our international group companies
You are our face for finance in front of banks, auditors, and tax consultants
