Description

We are looking for you for the 3-year training as a railway operator in train traffic control (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the locations Ulm, Neu-Ulm, Gerlenhofen, Vöhringen, Nersingen, Günzburg, Amstetten, Westerstetten, Beimerstetten, Schelklingen, Allmendingen, Ehingen or Munderkingen.

The vocational school and training center are located in Esslingen near Stuttgart. Depending on your travel time, we will support you with accommodation options. With this training, you will become a coordinator for our trains. Instead of being on the train, you will be in a control center (called "signal box"). We have countless signal boxes throughout Germany.

Through screens or boards, you can observe the trains in your area and use buttons, keys, and levers to influence their journey.

With the push of a button, you can set signals (traffic lights for the trains) to green or red and also switch tracks so that the trains can change tracks.

Many other tasks make you the most important team member for the train drivers. You are constantly in contact and exchange information, for example, about changes during the journey.

With your small team, you will work in the greater Ulm area at a signal box close to the action.

Here you can see the trains passing by. The trains are usually controlled using levers, buttons, or rotary
