Your Tasks:

The aim of this work is to establish a platform for NMR-based diagnosis of tuberculosis based on metabolites in urine in order to enable early disease detection.

Maximum sensitivity is to be achieved through hyperpolarization with parahydrogen.

The project is embedded in the Collaborative Research Center "Compact High-Performance Magnetic Resonance Systems - HyPERiON", which develops small, sensitive high-field NMR spectrometers.

There is the possibility of pursuing a part-time doctorate.

September 1, 2023

Your Qualifications:

You have a completed university degree (Master) in the field of Chemistry.

Experience with organometallic complexes as well as in the areas of inert gas chemistry, NMR, spin dynamics, and microfluidics is required.

Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, round off your profile.

Salary:

Pay grade 13, if the professional and personal requirements are met.

Contract Duration:

3 years
