It is a reliable partner for drinking and wastewater associations as well as the industry. MIDEWA operates swimming pools and is also involved in public lighting, district heating supply, and groundwater remediation.

For our location on Weißenfelser Straße in Merseburg, we are currently looking for a

Financial Accountant in Merseburg (m/f/d)

limited contract

Your tasks:


  • Processing incoming invoices from MIDEWA via X-Suite and SAP (scanning/verifying/allocating/booking)
  • Management of accounts payable lists
  • Maintenance of master data and reconciliation of personal accounts
  • Conducting account reconciliations
  • Monitoring processing/return of incoming invoices from responsible departments
  • Maintenance/creation of recurring bookings and booking of accounting documents
  • Processing reminders for incoming invoices
  • Proper preparation and management of accrual accounts
  • Conducting monthly and quarterly closings, preparing accounting documents for monthly accruals, and assisting with yearend closing tasks
