What does your training look like?

  • The practical part of your training takes place in one of our markets in Mitte, Kreuzberg, Tempelhof-Schöneberg or Neukölln.
  • In a four-week introductory phase, you will get an overview of your training market. Over the next 2 years, you will rotate through different departments before specializing in your 3rd year, for example in the areas of Bakery & Bistro, Fruits & Vegetables, Cheese & Dairy Products, or Meat & Sausages.
  • During this time, you will advise and sell in your BIO COMPANY market, support with product placement and control, and assist with various tasks on site.
  • The training for retail salesperson (w/m/d) usually lasts 3 years. With a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification, you can also shorten your training time to 2 years.
  • The training for salesperson (w/m/d) lasts two years.
