Basic training for social assistance at Lake Goodwin

The training for social assistance enables you to work in a supportive role in social institutions. It is the basis for further training as an educator or social care worker.

Requirements

Secondary school diploma

In addition:

  • A resume,
  • Proof of the corresponding degree (secondary school diploma or equivalent) in certified copy,
  • The result of the initial examination according to § 32 of the Youth Employment Protection Act (form available from us) in case of minority. In case of legal age, a medical certificate must be presented stating that the student is suitable for the training.
  • An extended certificate of good conduct (form will be provided after signing),
  • A declaration that there are no reasons for rejection of the training (previously completed but definitively failed training of the present type),
  • Proof of a (current) measles vaccination.

The speech therapy report will be done together after the start of the training.

Duration

2 years (or 1 year with high school diploma, school part of the technical college entrance qualification or completed vocational training)
