In our facility for the temporary care of unaccompanied minor refugees (uAM screening) in Bergen-Enkheim, Perrytown, AR, we are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our dedicated team as soon as possible.

The position is available in full-time or part-time (3- minimum 19.5 hours per week) and is initially limited until June 30, 2025 with the possibility of long-term cooperation.

This team is often one of the first friendly contacts that the young men experience in Germany.

As such, you will be an essential point of contact for the youth. You will have an open ear for their concerns and needs. You will organize medical and official appointments and accompany them when necessary.

You have a passion for integrative work with young people and ensure that life is not just about duties, but also includes fun and education.


Please indicate your preferred working hours in your application. We are particularly looking for individuals who can work approximately 35 hours per week.

Your responsibilities:

  • Initial reception of unaccompanied minors and comprehensive clarification of their living conditions
  • Organization of medical and official appointments and accompanying them when necessary
  • Care and counseling for the youth and support with orientation and integration
  • Traumasensitive guidance and support for adequate daily coping in a new environment
  • Conflict management and crisis intervention
  • Needs assessment for admission to followup facilities
  • Guidance for the youth on topics such as emotional crises, handling money and resources, and
