  • Develops and implements procedures to carry out indepth oversight and surveillance of supply programs in accordance with Performance Work Statements (PWS), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Air Force Instructions,
- and State and Federal laws.

  • Serves as a technical advisor to the Contract Administrator by interpreting technical aspect of supply actions.
  • Participates in meetings with customers, contractor, Contract Administrator and key Air Force representatives to resolve problems, discuss procedures, and review Contract Discrepancy Reports (CDR) and contractor responses.

  • Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) prescribed "Unscheduled Telework.
  • Requires Secret Level security clearance
  • 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level
  • Broad understanding of an interrelated chain of activities involving the process of supply
  • Ability to communicate at a high level both orally and in writing

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located
here

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-5 in the Federal Service.

Specialized experiences is ability to analyzing, developing, evaluating, and promoting improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques in a materiel management program.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of quality assurance/control methods, principles, and practices, including statistical analysis, root cause analysis, sampling techniques, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of supply principles, concepts, and methodologies necessary for effective supply program operations as outlined in published instructions, manuals, and applicable contracts.
  • Ability to communicate at a high level both orally and in writing
to with internal and external customers to include Contract Officers, Center/Wing/Group leadership, squadron Director, Corporate representatives, and others as needed to meet program objectives.
