Job Description

  • Conduct quality assurance inspections
  • Independently record errors, analyze them, clearly describe problems, and actively initiate measures to correct errors
  • Obtain, review, and evaluate technical production documents (inspection plan, drawings, parts list, etc.)
  • Inspect and evaluate parts, assemblies, and systems
  • Ensure quality of purchased parts
  • Create inspection plans/standardized inspection instructions
  • Provide input for the NCR process
  • Actively implement Q6 standards, Quality Gates, WSP, and FB/FF
  • Actively participate in problem solving and implementation of improvement ideas
  • Assist in setting up inspection and measurement work for serial testing, including documentation
  • Release components and assemblies from production
  • Evaluate rejected assemblies
  • Create inspection and acceptance certificates

Qualifications

  • Completed engineering degree or equivalent knowledge relevant to the role of quality assurance (m/f/d)
  • Knowledge of quality inspection, particularly in the rail vehicle industry, is advantageous
  • Confident demeanor towards customers and colleagues, independent work style, quick comprehension, and ability to think in a solutionoriented manner
  • Negotiation skills, communication skills, and teamwork are essential
