PHP Backend Developer (m/f/d)

Full-time position - Aachen/ Jülich - four days remote work

At softwareXperts, we are searching for IT experts with diverse knowledge and experience for our clients in various industries. Our client is currently looking for an experienced PHP backend specialist to join their team in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Requirements:

  • You have experience with object-oriented PHP and are familiar with frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
  • You know how to work with relational databases, especially those that store time series data
  • You are familiar with different interfaces such as REST or SOAP and understand HTTP communication
  • You prioritize performance and security and are aware of the dangers of SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and TLS
  • You write unit tests and work with continuous integration
  • You are motivated, creative, and a team player
  • You are fluent in English and German

Responsibilities:

  • You develop and test backend applications for our products
  • You plan and implement software projects as part of a team or independently
  • You optimize and scale our IoT platform, which processes large amounts of data and serves an increasing number of customers
