We are looking for a Head of Pepper News (f/m/x) to lead our magazine section on our community-driven platforms in Germany, United Kingdom, France, and Poland.

In this role, you will represent Pepper News internally and externally, ensuring that we cover all important topics for savvy shoppers.

You will report directly to the management team.


Your responsibilities will include leading and developing a team of country leads in four different markets, identifying relevant news and ensuring 24/7 coverage, setting high-quality content standards, collaborating with our PR/Marketing and Deal Editorial teams, and creating content plans.

You will also be responsible for managing a budget, analyzing data to track success and identify areas for improvement, and identifying growth opportunities in the news business.


To be successful in this role, you should have experience in managing an international editorial team and organizing a 24/7 news flow.

You should also have a strong network or resources for finding passionate freelance editors, knowledge of Google News and Google Discover, and the ability to recognize and develop newsworthy stories.
