The city of Ratingen, with a population of around 92,000, is the largest city in the district of Mettmann.

Ratingen has a lot to offer:

a historic old town, a beautiful location between the Rhine and Ruhr rivers, attractive cultural and leisure activities in the city itself and in neighboring cities, excellent transportation connections, and a modern infrastructure - in short, a high quality of life.

The Department for Children, Youth and Family of the city of Ratingen, with currently 380 employees, is responsible for all matters concerning the children and youth of Ratingen.

It operates 16 childcare facilities with different focuses and maintains eight youth centers.

We are currently seeking a part-time Coordinator (m/f/d) for the "Netzwerk Kinderstark (NRW schafft Chancen)" at the Department for Children, Youth and Family.

This is a part-time position with a workload of 19.5 hours per week.

The contract is initially limited until December 31, 2024, but an extension of the funding period by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia is possible.

In case the funding ends, there is the possibility of being assigned to another suitable position within the Department for Children, Youth and Family.
