As a children's aid organization based in Oberhausen/Dinslaken, we have been bringing sick and injured children from war and crisis areas to Germany for medical treatment since 1967.

Our mission is to provide care and support for these children, and we are proud to say that our unique concept has been successful worldwide.

Our home facility in Oberhausen is where our 2- to 12-year-old patients stay during their rehabilitation.

They come from different countries in Africa and (Central) Asia, and despite their diverse cultures, languages, and religions, they live together as one big family.

Visitors to our Peace Village are often amazed by how easily the children communicate, play, and make friends with each other, despite their differences.

Even though they have been through difficult times and are far from home, their joy for life remains unbroken.


We are currently looking for dedicated employees to join our team on alternating shifts (early and late shifts) to support our humanitarian efforts for the children of the world.


Tasks

  • Accompanying the children during their daily activities at the village
  • Assisting with minor nursing tasks under supervision and documenting them
  • Implementing our peace education and multicultural approach in our educational work
  • Participating in team meetings, shift handovers, and training sessions
  • Working hours (30 to 40 hours per week) will be divided into early and late shifts, including weekends and oncall shifts. Night shifts are also available.
