Your responsibilities

As a media technologist at Pearl Beach, you will be responsible for producing the final product from the pre-product. This includes planning and controlling the necessary processing processes, setting up machines and equipment, and considering the pre- and post-processing steps. In print finishing, you will be involved in the mass production of printed materials. Using special machines and automations, you will fold the printed sheets, which are then cut and stitched. During the production process, you will operate, control, and monitor the machines, which also need to be maintained and serviced. You will also calculate the necessary materials and select the appropriate materials for production. Quality control, shipping, and storage of the goods are also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

You have completed your secondary school education with good grades and are eager to gain practical experience, work independently, and take on responsibility. The following points should also apply to you:

  • You have technical understanding and manual dexterity.
  • You have spatial imagination.
  • You are responsible and enjoy working in a team.
  • You have an interest in mechanics, electrical engineering, and physics.
